Depositing checks is now as simple as taking a selfie!  You can deposit checks with your smartphone using the new feature in the Harbor Credit Union mobile app.

Although we would love to see you, stopping by a location to deposit checks can be a pain if you are running short on time or if you are out of town. Making a mobile deposit is simple and takes just seconds to complete using your smartphone or mobile device.

Mobile banking members and can request the service by clicking the Get Started button below and submit your request.  One of our member service representatives will contact you with the next steps to apply.  Once you’re approved, you’ll be ready to use the service and a new Deposit Check tile will be on the Deposit screen within the app.  Please note that business accounts are not eligible for Mobile Deposit.

Restrictive Endorsement Of Checks
Endorse the back of the original check with the restrictive endorsement “For Mobile Deposit Only, Harbor Credit Union” and your signature. For example, a proper endorsement on the back of the check would appear as follows:

It's Easy To Make Mobile Deposits
1. Log in to the Harbor Credit Union mobile app.
2. On the menu bar, select “Deposit.”
3. Select the tile that says “Deposit Check.”
4. Select the account into which you would like to deposit the check.
5. Select “Amount” to enter the amount of the deposit and then select “Next.”
6. Capture a photo of the front and back of the check.
7. Once you have captured a clear image, select “Use.”

Please note the following daily limits:

Daily Deposit Limit:  The maximum dollar amount permitted for a business day is $2,500.
Per Check Deposit Limit:  The maximum dollar amount permitted for a business day is $1,000.

We recommend that you securely store the original paper check for 90 days.  It may take up to two business days for your mobile deposits to be credited to your account.  Restrictions may apply.  Please refer to your original mobile deposit disclosure and agreement for all details of the service.

Supported devices are listed in the Apple® App Store, Google Play™, and on Devices must have a camera with a 2.0 or higher megapixel rating. A data connection is required.
